VCS Health and Community Well-Being Strategy Group
The VCS Health and Community Well-Being Strategy Group is an email group of voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) with an interest or involvement in health and social care issues. The aim of the group is to give VCOs a chance to think about how we might be able to co-ordinate future work around health and social care, share relevant information (about training, funding, events) via email, and to come together for specific consultation events as and when needed.

Health and Wellbeing Support for Carers 2010 - Implementing the Gloucestershire Carers Strategy
NHS Gloucestershire wants to invest in services that provide respite and breaks for Carers thus contributing to their health and wellbeing. This is one of the priorities in the Gloucestershire Carers Strategy.
NHS Gloucestershire is keen to invest in services that are tailored to meet the needs of carers. The proposals will need to demonstrate that they deliver the target principle - Having a break from caring – we recognise that Carers have a life beyond their caring role.
The Carers Grant Steering Group will consider applications for funding up to £15,000. The funding is available for two years from April 2010 until March 2012.
The deadline for applications is 31st March 2010 - All completed applications to be returned by email to Diana Billingham by that date.
