Local organisations that support the VCS
There are a variety of different support and development organisations (often also called infrastructure organisations) that provide support to and/or a collective voice for the VCS in Gloucestershire, or to specific sub-sectors of Gloucestershire’s VCS. This includes support to groups in a particularly district or to groups of a particular type such as sports groups, BME groups and so forth and could include: advice on funding and tendering opportunities; support with governance and legal issues; local networking opportunities; and the use of a community venue or other facilities.
These are detailed below:
- Active Gloucestershire
- Cooperative Futures
- Cotswold Volunteering
- Create Gloucestershire
- Forest Voluntary Action Forum
- Gloucestershire Association for Voluntary and Community Action (GAVCA)
- GRCC
- Gloucestershire Social Enterprise Centre
- Linking Communities
- PATA
