The Olympic Legacy

The 2012 Olympic Games are the first to set out with a stated aim to increase participation in physical activity and improve health. The Government’s aim is to help 2 million more people become more active during 2012.

In order to leave a lasting legacy in Gloucestershire we need to be building capacity within our communities to encourage and allow more people to get more active and improve health. If your agency or community group is organizing any activities in 2012 that will help achieve the aim of increasing physical activity and improving health then please get in contact. The more people engaged in creating this legacy the more chance of success.
