Who you are

Teens In Crisis

What you do

We offer counselling, mentoring and mediation to young people aged 11-21 and their families if apporopriate.

What you can offer

We have a pool of qualified counsellors, some of whom are based in schools, others who are peripatetic. This enables us to deliver counselling near to where the young person lives. We ususally manage to see young people within a 2-3 week time frame. We don't restrict counselling to a few sessions, we see them until the problem is resolved as best it can be. Some of our counsellors have been trained in the CAF (common assessment framework model) so understand the need to work within this framework. Counselling is free to the young person.

What you need from another partner

Referrals and the opportunity to be able to pass on partner details to the young person as it becomes appropriate, so that they have access to a holistic package of help. So we are looking for partners who could offer services to young people and their families that we don't offer. To help put a collaborative bid in to CYPD commissioning process.
