New editorial policy for the Gloshub Bulletin

The Gloshub Bulletin will be adopting a new editorial policy, to come into effect in time for the publication of issue 135 on Wednesday 10 September 2008.

This new policy will see a change to the way information is reported in the Bulletin, and will make the weekly Bulletin a part of other methods of distributing news to and from the voluntary and community sector in Gloucestershire.

What is it?

The Gloshub Bulletin is a weekly e-mail newsletter produced on behalf of the Gloucestershire Assembly. A brief roundup of news and information for the voluntary and community sector in Gloucestershire, it goes out every Wednesday and information from the bulletin can be found on this website.

Who’s it for?

The Gloshub Bulletin is free to voluntary and community sector organisations. There is a small charge for public sector and private organisations. If you would like to receive the bulletin please complete the sign-up form below.

What’s in it?

The bulletin has six main areas of content:

News – Current issues which have an impact on the VCS in Gloucestershire. We’ll cover important local news as well as relevant national issues.

Events – A diary of forthcoming countywide events. National events will also be included if they are of particular interest to the local sector.

Consultations – Information and supporting documents enabling the VCS to respond effectively to consultations.

Training – Opportunities for training accessible to organisations in Gloucestershire.

Funding – The latest funding opportunities for VCS groups in the county and links to useful websites.

Noticeboard - This section includes all sorts of useful information including venues, jobs, volunteer opportunities and anything else which might be of interest to organisations.
