Infrastructure support is there to give you information about funding, enable you to find the right training for you, help you to have a say in local and county wide issues & help you to communicate & network with other groups.
Gloucestershire has several infrastructure organisations, including Councils for Voluntary Services (CVS) & other specialist organisations, all of whom are members of GIG.

Third Sector Services, which manages Cheltenham Volunteer Centre and Tewkesbury Borough Volunteer Centre recruits and brokers volunteer placements, advises on volunteer management and runs a Volunteer Manager’s Forum. Senior staff represent the interests of volunteer centres throughout the South West on Volunteering England’s Volunteering Development Advisory Group and on the Volunteer Development Council South West. Third Sector Services’ Chief Executive Hazel Lonsdale is the strategic lead for volunteering in the county and chairs the Gloucestershire strategic volunteering group. Together with GAVCA, Third Sector Services holds the county contract for developing volunteer brokerage services across the county and offers strategic volunteer management advice to groups of all sizes.
